For trading mentorship teams
The coaching platform built for trading mentorship teams.
Track which students are journaling their trades, showing up to the morning session, and on pace — and which are going quiet ahead of a refund.
The operation
The week of a trading mentorship operator.
It's 5am Pacific. Your head coach is finishing his market prep for the 6am live session. Your CS lead opens her spreadsheet. Ninety students in the current cohort, twenty-two in the alumni tier, eight in the 1:1 mentorship. Attendance at yesterday's live session was 62% — down from 78% last week. She's flagging the students who haven't journaled a trade in ten days. Three of them are inside the 14-day refund window. One posted a $3,200 loss Monday and hasn't said a word since. Another just hit her first green week, but the testimonial ask hasn't fired — that lives in the founder's head, next to a TODO he wrote at midnight on his phone. Meanwhile a student emails support asking about a refund. He went dark three weeks ago. Nobody noticed.
Why trading mentorship teams outgrow generic tools.
01
Course platforms don't track live-session attendance or trade journaling.
Kajabi, Thinkific, and the rest are built around video lessons. For a trading mentorship, the unit of progress isn't "watched 80% of the lesson" — it's "showed up to the morning session" and "logged a setup for review." Course platforms can't see either, so your CS team ends up building a dashboard in Google Sheets a junior analyst maintains on Sundays.
02
Community tools hide the students who've stopped posting trades.
The loudest voices in a trading room aren't the students at refund risk — they're the ones with screenshots and green P&L. The students in trouble go quiet. On Skool and Mighty, they disappear under a feed that rewards activity. In Coachly, they surface flagged — journaling streak broken, live sessions missed, no posts in the room for two weeks.
03
Stitched stacks miss the correlation between a bad week and a pending refund.
Most trading mentorships duct-tape Discord, Stripe, TradingView, and a shared Google Sheet. By the time the refund email arrives, the student has been quiet for a month. The signal was there across four tools. Nobody had a view that tied a losing streak to a dropped journal to a missed morning session. Coachly does.
What Coachly does differently for trading mentorships.
01
A client success table for trading mentorships.
One row per student: live-session attendance streak, trade-journal entries this week, P&L trend (if they log it), last 1:1, and refund-window status. Sort by refund risk. Filter by cohort or strategy track. Flag every student whose morning-session streak broke this week, before Thursday's review call.
02
Check-ins built around trade behavior, not lesson completion.
Define the questions that actually matter: number of setups taken, setups that followed the rules, biggest mistake this week, emotional state. Students answer weekly. Your CS team sees the pattern — the student whose entries stopped mentioning the rules, the one whose emotional state note went from "confident" to "rattled" in four weeks.
03
Testimonial workflow tied to milestones, not video completion.
First green week, first profitable month, first month covering the price of the program — those are the moments. Coachly flags them and queues the testimonial ask with the student's journal history attached, so your team writes a specific, honest message instead of a template. The ask goes out the same day, not three weeks later.
04
Whitelabel end-to-end.
Custom domain, your logo, your colors. Students walk into your brand — not a SaaS — from the welcome email to the morning-session replay. No "Powered by Coachly" anywhere students look. A branded mobile app is available on Custom, which matters for cohorts that check the room between sessions.
Questions
Trading mentorship, in plain terms.
Do you handle live morning market-open sessions?
Booking, attendance, and replay links live alongside the student's journal and check-ins. Your CS team sees who missed this morning at a glance, sorted by streak. Coachly doesn't run the live call itself — keep Zoom, Discord Stage, or whatever your coach prefers — but attendance records and recordings land in the same table as everything else.
Can students log trades and journals inside Coachly?
Yes — via structured check-ins. Define the questions (setups taken, rules followed, biggest mistake, emotional state, P&L if you want it). Students answer weekly or per-session. Your CS team opens their timeline before each 1:1 and sees exactly how the student is trading this week, not just whether they watched the Monday lesson.
How does Coachly handle our 14-day refund window?
Every student row shows refund-window status — green outside the window, amber in the final few days, red when refund-risk signals stack up (missed session streak, broken journal streak, no room activity). Your CS team sees the students inside their window who need outreach, sorted by how close they are to the edge. No more surprises on day 13.
Can we track each student's live-session attendance?
Yes. Attendance at recurring sessions (morning open, weekly review, mentor group) is tracked per student and shows up as a streak on the CS table. Missed streaks are a first-class signal — your team can flag, sort, and filter by them. It's how the quiet students surface before they refund.
Do you integrate with TradingView, Thinkorswim, or broker APIs?
Not natively — we stay out of the broker layer intentionally (regulation, liability, your coach's strategy is yours). For teams that want P&L pulled in automatically, use our public API or a Zapier/Make flow from your broker's webhook. Most teams find the structured check-in approach more honest than raw broker data anyway, because what you want to coach is behavior, not the ticker.
Can we run multiple cohorts at different skill levels?
Yes. Each cohort or skill tier is a separate program with its own cadence, check-in questions, and coaches. A student can be enrolled in several (the core strategy course plus the advanced track, say). Your CS team sees every program they're in on one row, with attendance and journaling data across each. Cohort scheduling and drip are on Scale and up.
